A dream from A Thousand and One Nights that lives on...

Villa Crespi was a challenge, my wife and I took it over in 1999. We had nothing. We just wanted to do it, and we put all our passion and determination into it.

I remember when I worked at L'Approdo...I often passed in front of this beautiful villa, and from afar, you could only see the minaret. I thought it was a church. I had no idea that it would become my future.

Today Villa Crespi is the dream of Cinzia and me that has become the real thing along the shores of the beautiful Lake Orta. This late 19th century Moorish Relais has made luxury hospitality its mission each and every day.
