At the beginning of June Antonino Cannavacciuolo’s first retail pastry shop is opening in Novara.
The group managed by the Chef and his wife, Cinzia Primatesta, has for the second time favoured Novara for a new project that will go by the name of Cannavacciuolo Bakery and is near the park also known as the Children’s Park .
The pastries sold here will be prepared using modern techniques and a watchful eye on tradition: croissants and brioches, with or without fillings, cream, apricot or strawberry jam, chocolate and hazelnut cream; there will be vegan variants with bitter orange or wholemeal with almond, Venetian brioches, Austrian pastries known as Kranz, fresh mignon pastries, large cakes and single portion cakes. From the end of June onward a complete range of chocolates, pralines, macarons will be available, and of course the unforgettable Rum Babas.
There will also be, a little further down the road, savoury products such as focaccia and fried pizza. Some of the creations will be available online on the group’s e-commerce website or at the Cannavacciuolo Café & Bistot in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, 1.
